*the curriculum alternates in each of these classes every year due to the combined class set up

Details

All classes meet on the same Sunday afternoon, 10 times between September2010 and June2011 for 2 hours at a time. There will be extra dates for Nativity practice, Sacramental dress rehearsals, project work, field trips or else. All classes take place either in our church or in the closer neighborhood (link to calendar/schedule)

First Holy Communion

Celebrated at the end of RE 2 in May 2011. The First Communicants must have attended classes for two consecutive years (RE1 and RE2) before receiving the Sacrament.

First Reconciliation

Celebrated in April 2011 for students who attend the RE3/4 class this year.

Confirmation

Celebrated in June 2011 after the Candidates attended our preparation classes for two consecutive years.

Registration takes place June 20th after Mass (September 5th for new families). The Payment is due at the time of registration. (link to registration form)

First day of Class All classes start Sept. 12th, 3-5pm.Welcome Mass is celebrated at 5.30pm at Bruder Klaus.

Cost Tuition fee is CHF 80,-per year and child/teenager

RE teaching team

The ESRCCB teaching team is always looking for help as in our international community fluctuation is very high due to people moving in/out of Basel constantly. In order to be able to offer a wide variety of classes, new teachers are always welcome!
